Creative Services - Designer
Our Creative Services - Designer position was created for a robust communications professional. The position includes graphic design, social media management, photo editing and other tasks assigned. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and an understanding of the creative process, typography, advertising, production and general communications. The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work that demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will also have experience in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.
Primary Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities for the Business Development position include:
- Work with team to create stunning and effective graphics for clients
- Manage social media accounts for a variety of clients
- Design for various forms of media ad campaigns including social, digital and print
- Work with team to create a variety of design pieces and elements—including social media, print collateral and other marketing materials
- Design branding items such as logos and related collateral
- Assist with photo and video shoots as needed, sometimes editing photo/video as well
- Assist with web design services
- Day-to-day functions as needed
Salary
This position has a negotiable hourly pay based on skill set and experience.
Required Experience
- Experience working in a marketing/communications department or ability backed by a portfolio
- Strong design principles and values while collaborating with partners and absorbing feedback
- Time management skills to work on multiple projects at once and with various deadlines
- A creative mindset to be able to bring a design to life with simple instructions
- Flexibility to be able to switch between projects or pivot quickly
Preferred Experience
- 2-4 year degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Advertising, Marketing or any like field
- Photography and Videography skills are a plus
